First, we drove 1/2 way to Nashville to spend the night. We explored toys r us, went to rainforest cafe and swam at the hotel and the girls even slept (decently)! We were tired, but the trip started off very well!
Once we got up the mountain, our group was awesome, the babysitter was great, and we were all prepared for this retreat. I worried much less about the late nights, bonded more with my group, participated more, and we were all just so blessed.
Each afternoon we tried to get out and do something, the first day we explored the town and got ice cream, the second day we played mini golf, and the third afternoon we did the family fun olympics.
We just all had a blast.
The trip home was long, but our hearts are still so encouraged. I am so grateful for this experience!
