Baby Girl

Aubrey started doing this thing where she scrunches her whole face and then pretty much blows her nose.  It is too funny!  I tried to capture it in pictures, but these don't do it justice!

Phone Pics

(I was able to grab a few minutes and schedule some posts to go up throughout the first half of the week!)

I'd say it's night night time.

Langley's first school picture.  Clearly a picture of the real picture.

I was trying to get a picture of Aubrey and she reached her slobbery little hand out and took this herself.

Practicing sitting up.  I don't see it happening any time soon.

Sweet girl.

Early morning, one of the first colder days.  I sent this to Josh with the caption "thugs."  He laughed.

Boo glasses, a school craft.

'Twas the Night Before Basketball Season

Yep, first game is tomorrow!  In case you are wondering, yes, this coach's wife is always a nervous wreck before the first game of the season.  Last year was the worst as it was our very first game at Williams and it was homecoming.  No pressure there.

This year, we will get a game under our belt before homecoming.  I don't know what to expect from our team and I don't know what to expect from my girls.  My goal is to make it through enjoy at least the first half.  I have a feeling it will be bedtime after that, plus Langley has school the next day.  We'll see.  I'll have the dvd player ready to go.

We had a pretty good weekend:  Flu shots for Josh and I, a babysitter and date night, errands, a walk, 30 degree drop in temperatures, church with a happy baby, and a nap!

Oh, and Henry got a haircut.

Langley has been sleeping past 6, so hallelujah.  Aubrey is adjusting to life without the swaddle, so that's been a treat.  Nap time and night time have been a little rough for her, but hopefully she'll get use to it soon.

We are all over the random scream every time she moves or rolls over.  Nothing like a shriek breaking up the silence of night to help you rest.

Who knows how my posting will be this week, it will be a hectic few days with school, halloween, pep rally, and homecoming festivities.  Best case senario, 2-0 by this time next week!

And finally, GO EAGLES!

Halloween/Harvest/Fall Festival/Fest/Carnival...I don't know what it's called

The college had it's annual Halloween thing for the community last night.  I put zero effort into Langley's costume and Aubrey didn't have one.  She just chilled in the bjorn.

Langley had fun, but it was hot and a little overwhelming.  She was able to participate in most of the games and get some candy for Josh and I to eat :-)

She was "Dr. Langley."

Fun times!

Last Post About Our Trip Home

Both the girls traveled SO WELL.  I was so thankful!

While we were in Arkadelphia, Josh and the team were only about 30 minutes away.  Thank goodness, because I lost my keys on the second day and I was able to meet Josh to get my extra car key.

Anyway, the first night of "team weekend" they camped out.  There's not many campers in the group, so it was interesting.  Here they are setting up camp.

Team weekend also included breakfast at my inlaws, working at family farm, and attending "Magic Screams."  There is actually a video on the Magic Springs and Crystal Falls facebook page of the team going through one of the haunted houses.  Funny stuff!

The first game is next week!

Aubrey Finally Met Memaw

Hanging Out at Mimi's House

Until last week, I had not been to my hometown in 6 months.

I was sick the whole time we were there, and after I went to the pharmacy I had used for at least 20 years of my life to get my prescription filled, I cried.  Yes, I cried.  It felt so good to be home - to see familiar people and things.

We got to see some friends  and family (mimi, memaw, nanny, lawson, cole, courtney, max, nana, pawpaw, jake, and andrew to name a few)which was wonderful!

Here are just some random pictures of us hanging out at my mom's.

And, we spent some time at nanny's where there is never shortage of entertainment.

Pumpkin Patch 2012

I got to take Langley on her first class fieldtrip Monday to the pumpkin patch!  My sweet friend and neighbor Jill kept Aubrey so I could actually enjoy this experience!

Every child had at least one parent there so everyone kind of went in their own direction.  There were several things to do, but Langley would have stayed in the hay or corn the entire time.

I took very few pictures because I was chasing her, keeping her from falling off the top of the 10 foot hay stack,  correcting her when she was being ugly to another little girl, and running into the road.  Treat.

It was a fun time.  All the kids were filthy, tired, and hungry by the time we headed back to school.

That evening I started running fever and was miserable!  The doctor thinks it's just a virus and I haven't had fever since about 4 am Tuesday, I'm just praying neither the girls or Josh gets it.
