February 24:  About to explore the kitchen.

February 25:  After a day of shopping and visiting, this is all I could get.

February 26:  I hate that this is sideways :-(  She loved riding in the wagon!

February 27:  Daddy feeding her supper.

February 28:  My love.  364 days old.

All I Could Do Was Laugh...

...when I found her trapped under a basket of toys....

...and watched her figure out how to break free ( you should have heard the grunt and effort going on here!)

A List

1.  We felt an earthquake early Friday morning.  Just one jolt, but I was waiting for the trumpets to sound.  It was a very strange sensation.

2.  There are 2 more regular season games left.  Unless something has changed, we just have to win 1 in order to go to the conference tournament.  It's in Denver and I won't be going...and I don't want to think about it.

3.  I joined a women's bible study.  We are doing Return to the Garden by Kay Arthur.  Hmmm.  It might get spicy :-)  After church the first night I really wanted to blog about funny things each week [like I did with childbirth class,]  because it's a very diverse group with a wide age range (which to me will equal lots of humorous/akward moments,) but I won't.  Because that would be totally inappropriate.   Lord help me.

4.  When Langley was born my mom introduced us to The Office.  The show has become a bright spot in our lives.  However, I don't like the new ones.  I will not give up on Dunder Mifflin, but it just hasn't been as good as say season 3.

5.  If I get any more gray hair I will consider going blonde.  Seriously, it's getting ridiculous.

Good night and happy weekend!

Daily Pics 15-18

February 15:  Telling Daddy bye before another road trip.

February 16:  We met my dad at McDonalds for a little visit.  Langley played with napkins most of the time.

February 17:  Reading a new book my mom sent.

February 18:  Headed to the Homecoming pep rally.

And then she tackled me.

Daily Pics: 10-14

February 10:  This was another time that I forgot to take her picture until it was bedtime!

February 11:  We made an appearance at our ladie's basketball game.  This is Langley with one of Josh's players.  There are several of them that she loves and they love her!

February 12:  Praise Baby was on the TV behind me.

February 13:  It was a gorgeous day and we went to swing!

February 14:  Happy Valentines Day!  I discovered an actual tooth today -- like I can feel it and see it (it's sharp!)

In Case You Haven't Heard...

we have some major snow (by Arkansas standards.)

It was very powdery, we couldn't make a snowman.  However, my dog, went crazy in the snow!  We didn't measure how many inches were in our yard, but Henry could barely see over it in some places.  He had pounds of snow stuck in his fur.  He went directly into the bathtub so I could defrost him when we got inside!

Henry, Langley, and our bowl of snow for snowcreme!

She was confused by the mittens and by the falling snow.  It (snow) caked on her eyelashes.

Look at all of that stuck in his fur!  H really couldn't run,but had to jump around since the snow was so deep in places.  He slept for hours this afternoon.

Josh may kill me for this picture...I assure you I looked more crazy in my snow gear.  He had on camo and an old CBC baseball coat and was propped up on a shovel.  We had high hopes for our snow creations, but no such luck.

Daily Pics: 5-9

February 5:  Playing with the favorite toy, still in her PJ's.

February 6:  This was after church and a nap.

February 7:  Mesmerized by something on TV.  Would. Not. Look. At. Me.

February 8:  After a long day with croup, a trip to the doctor, and her first dose of steroids.

February 9:  She sounds better today!  We spent time outside so she could breathe in the cold air.  It snowed all day long.

Rx for 'roids

Steroids.

Langley woke up barking this morning.  She was so hoarse and her cough was literally a bark.  I consulted my handy books and figured out she had croup.  We went to the doctor and she got her very first presciption for some steroids.  I told the pharmacist, "not everyone gets to be snowed in with a baby on steroids."  He laughed.  He was much more honest about how they could affect Langley than the doctor was.

She's had her first dose and she's asleep now.  She sounds terrible, but has not acted sickly.  I pray this clears up quickly.  I'll take one for the team tomorrow and play in the snow because cold moist air is supposed to really help.

Sidenote:  she weighs just over 22 pounds now.
Sidenote #2:  we had to buy a new washing machine today.

Finally, this picture is not from today, but it's cute...

Daily Pics: 1-4

I've decided to take at least 1 picture everyday in February.  Just a little nostalgic as this is the last month of her first year.

February 1:  At the game. We won!  Record is now 11-10!

February 2:  Playing while I vacuumed!  This is literally the only picture I took that day and it is blurry :-(

February 3:  Looking Serious.  Maybe she was just done with me because she had on 7 layers of clothes.  Ok, just 3 layers.  It was SO COLD.

February 4:  Stuck inside.  Her car was entertainment for about 90 seconds before moving to a different part of the house to destroy :-)  Please excuse the massive pile of dishes in the sink.
