Already Mid-September

We are 3 weeks into pre-season.  Some days are brutal, some are loooong, some are exciting, but the last few weeks have really been a blur.  We counted and Josh sees the girls around 11 hours A WEEK.

Here are some things we've done:  gone to some volleyball games, awanas, hosted the team for lunch one saturday, gone out to lunch with the college sunday school class, Langley started dance twice a week, gone to hot springs for the day, attended first fair, gone to breakfast every friday morning, and went to camp paron for 24 hours for Josh to speak at the campus ministries fall retreat.

The weather is cooling down, but mosquitos are still horrendous.  And, I'm a little nervous because all the weather people are talking about a catastrophic winter.  I can think of few things worse than being trapped here without power during basketball season.

Also, my 4 year old does 2 things:  ask questions and complain.  Help me, Lord.

We are doing our best.  Taking 1 day at a time.  Finding joy in simple things.  Trying not to take myself too seriously.  Praying a lot.
