A Few Random Ones

Ready to swim at the hotel pool

The life of a coach's daughter:  entertainment during team camp.

A rare moment when Henry is actually calm.

Cracking eggs for Mawmaw's breakfast.

On the way to the science museum.  Don't they look comfy? Ha!

This is what happens when you take her to bass pro - you leave with a barbie tackle box.

Foot to foot on the way home.

Henry got a hair cut while we were gone, doesn't he look thrilled?  PS, please pray he doesn't have heart worms.  I don't remember the last time I gave him his pill, he goes Monday to get the blood test bc they won't give me any more pills before they confirm he is negative.  Swell.

OKC Science Museum

Mary and Andy really spoiled us while we were with them.  They took us to the Science Museum one afternoon and it was so much fun!  We all had a blast!

Grandparent Tour 2013

Josh and I decided we would like to visit our grandparents before school started, so we made a whirlwind trip and saw Memaw, Nanny, Papaw, and Maw-Maw all in 5 days.  Plus, we decided to break up the trip home and spend one night in Branson.

First, we visited with my Memaw.

Then, we went to Hot Springs because Josh's Papaw was in the hospital.  We didn't get to visit long, but are so glad we got to see him!

The next morning, we saw my Nanny.

Then, we headed to Purcell to see Mawmaw.  Bonus, she lives with aunt Mary and Andy so we got to visit with them too!

We love our grandparents!

The Time the Dr Told Me to Put Preparation H on My Baby's Face

Thursday morning Aubrey woke up with red bumps all over her face.  She had been attacked my a (ONE) mosquito as she slept.  I counted 8 or 9 bites on her face - just her face.  I felt horrible.  I couldn't believe she slept through that.  Poor Baby.

Thankfully, she wasn't scratching and she really didn't seem to notice they were there. Saturday morning she still looked awful so I called the doctor's office and they recommended preparation h to reduce the redness and swelling.  We didn't have any and I haven't made it to the store.  Most of the bites are looking better this morning, so I don't know if I'll even go the Prep H route.  I've heard it works wonders for bags under your eyes, so we may invest :-)

The mosquitoes didn't even arrive until last week - later than ever since we've lived here.  But, they are vicious.  Most of ya'll don't have a clue about the mosquito situation we endure here in north east Arkansas.  No clue.  If you live in a rice field then you can relate.

Anyway, there's that story.

Other things:  The girls and I went with Josh to recruit last night, other than Aubrey throwing her turkey all over the kid's dad, it went well.  We have another team camp Tuesday and Wednesday; and we should be another step closer to selling our house (or lose another contract) in the next day or two.  Aubrey is super close to her first steps.  I'm so ready for Langley and I to get our hair cut, we are donating it so I think I'll wait 2 or 3 more months.

7-13-13

Nothing extraordinary.  Just playing with these precious blessings.

This last one makes me laugh:

Dancing Queen

3 is still a hard age.

Her accent is SO COUNTRY.

She wakes up within 30 seconds of me opening my eyes every day. Josh can get up, slam every door, but it doesn't phase her.  If I so much as roll over to check my phone, she's wakes up.  She is in a totally different bedroom, mind you.

And oh, the back talk, and the defiance, and boundary testing.

But, this is how I want to remember 3.

And, the sweet sweet prayers her daddy taught her to pray.  And the hugs and kisses she gives, all the songs she sings, and the birthday parties she throws in her room.  And, how she surprises us almost every day with things she knows or can do.

3 Year Old Sass

She looked so sassy (and so grown!) before school one day last week.  Turns out she was feeling sassy too.  Her report from school was "didn't want to listen."

We definitely had some discussions that  night and thankfully, the next day was much better!  She is usually waaayyy better at school than she is at home, I guess she just had an off day (don't we all sometimes!)

Pretty girl.

My Baby

My precious is growing up!

I laughed so hard!  I told her I was going to take a picture and, I kid you not, she stopped crawling and posed herself like this!

Langley seemed so big at this age and Aubrey still seems so little - funny how perspectives change!
